Personal

I was born and raised in Neenah, WI. I attended Martin Luther Church and School in Neenah and Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI. After graduating from FVL in 1992, I enrolled at Northwestern College in Watertown, WI and became part of the first graduating class at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN in 1996. I continued my studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, graduating in 2000. My wife, Jennie, and I were married in 1999. We have been blessed with 3 daughters, Brianna, Kayley and Emma. I enjoy watching and playing sports of all kinds, being outdoors in God’s creation and watching and helping our children grow and develop.

Professional

I served my vicar year at Mt. Calvary in Flagstaff, AZ. After graduating from the Seminary, I was assigned to Abiding Word in Houston, TX. There I served as Pastor for Outreach and Family Ministry and spent two years as the acting principal for the school. In 2006, I accepted the call to serve in a similar capacity at Shepherd of the Hills in Tucson, AZ. I am excited to join the Christian family here at First and look forward to living and experiencing God’s grace together with you as we build each other up and reach out with God’s Word all to his glory and honor.
