"I am the Vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5
Summer will soon be in full swing. The weather is getting warmer. The crops are being sown. The fruit trees have budded and soon will bear much fruit. What are you looking forward to the most this summer? What are your plans? Where will you go? What will you do? Here is my encouragement: Throughout this summer walk closely attached to your Savior Jesus Christ and bear for him much fruit.

End of school
Posted: May 8, 2006
As we near the end of another school year, we give thanks to God for Christian education. The primary responsibility for teaching children the word of God is the home.
The church, Christian day school, and Sunday school assist. Children need to be taught both the truths of God's holy word and the practice of God's holy word. As we head into summer, this need doesn't decrease. Our Sunday school and day school will soon be over until September, but parents can still teach their children God's word, pray with their children on a daily basis, teach their children the important of on-going worship of God in church on a weekly basis. May God bless all of us as we strive to share with our children how much God loves them in our Savior Jesus and how joyfully we give our lives back to our good and gracious God. Pastor Grunewald
